Tips To Succees As A Temporary Employee

Build a strong relationship with your Future People Consultant and ensure that you:

  • Provide them with up-to-date contact details (for contact at short notice)
  • Provide them with accurate bank and tax details (to enable accurate and on-time weekly payment)
  • Advise them immediately if your personal, banking of taxation details change
  • Contact them on a weekly basis to advise of your availability for temporary work and to enquire about any available temporary positions
  • Keep their telephone numbers (office and mobile) on your telephone

Make sure you have read your Temporary Employment Agreement and understand all terms prior to commencing a temporary assignment. This is particularly important in relation to your obligations in protecting confidential information.

Make sure you are on time and have an impeccable attendance record during each assignment. This will enable us to assist you in securing another temporary assignment when required.

If an emergency prevents you from arriving at your assignment at the designated start time, contact your FuturePeople Consultant as early as possible to enable them to find a replacement temporary and / or inform the client company

Fulfill your commitment for the duration of the assignment period you were booked for. If there is any likelihood you cannot fulfill the whole commitment, advise your Future People Consultant prior to accepting the assignment

Always ensure you are appropriately groomed for your assignment in corporate attire

Be professional, proactive, positive and flexible when on-site with the client company

Your timesheet must be received by no later than 5pm each Sunday

As a temporary employee of FuturePeople Recruitment, you are representing us to our client. Please ensure you:

  • Demonstrate professional and courteous behaviour
  • Comply accordingly with the client’s policies
  • Have a positive and enthusiastic attitude to getting the job done
  • Take breaks as rostered
  • Have neat, professional and tidy attire
  • Keep the personal use of the internet, email and mobile phone to your breaks
  • Complete the term of your assignment and be punctual
